Identifiers & vocabularies

Honoria publishes its controlled vocabularies and ontologies as linked data. Every term has a stable URI under https://id.honoria.co.uk/def/ that resolves to Turtle for RDF clients and to a documentation page for browsers.

Concepts carry qualified outward mappings — skos:exactMatch to Wikidata, and skos:closeMatch to the equivalent class in The Gazette’s honours ontology, whose lower confidence is deliberately quarantined behind the non-transitive relation.

Vocabularies

SKOS concept schemes: the controlled term lists, each concept identified by its URI and carrying its post-nominal or code as skos:notation.

Ontologies

The OWL domain models — the classes and properties the vocabularies and the instance data are described with.

Shapes

SHACL validation shapes. Published as files rather than dereferenceable resources: they are run against data, not looked up. SKOS and OWL define; SHACL validates.
